Common questions before you begin.

Many couples find that a Catholic marriage prep class online is even more personal. Without a room full of other couples, you can take your time, speak openly with each other, and talk each topic through in the comfort of your homes. Every segment is taught by trusted Catholic presenters and grounded in Church teaching.

The Church asks every couple to prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage, and most parishes do this through Pre-Cana. Requirements vary by diocese, so the priest or deacon officiating your wedding will tell you exactly what you need.

In-person Pre-Cana classes vary and can take as little as a day, a weekend or sometimes weeks of classes. Our Pre-Cana online classes take around 8 hours to complete depending on your conversations in between the modules. You can start and stop whenever you like, with 12 months of access to revisit lessons as your wedding approaches.

Not quite. You may hear it called Pre-Cana counseling or Catholic Church premarital counseling, but Pre-Cana is formation. It helps you understand the Sacrament of Marriage and talk openly about the topics that matter most. If you're facing a serious concern, please reach out to your priest or a licensed counselor.
